Reader’s Digest

I am a Reader’s Digest subscriber now… I was intended to buy my own RD for a long time…but for sure la at that time I dun have money…u know la one issue will cost you about RM15…when I was a student I dun have that much money to spend for every month buying that kind of thing…(alasan…beli menda lain boleh la kan)…
Now…yes now… I will receive RD issue every month until 2010… may be people will say that…why you want to waste your money to buy something that you can get for free?? You can read RD in the library what??? …. Argghh… I dun mind… I tell you what… there are people out there who are keen of something and they will spend even millions $$ to buy something that they are really desire… I read in a newspaper about people going crazy to buy unique car registration number and they paid huge amount of money…even it costs more than a million $$…and Sultan *** (dirahsiakan) also wastes his money to buy billion cost of jet planes…and even he paid million $$ to invite Michael Jackson to have a dinner with him for only 1 night… mmm… I have read about this particular guy from somewhere in this world will do anything to buy a collection of books and he was willing to kill people to get the last series of the book who bought it before he did…
Argh…what a lame…what the bad examples that I had given you…all the cases are not the same with my case… their cases are more about buying something that other people will not have if they buy that thing…meaning to say…they are the only person in this world who have that thing…sounds exotic and amazing right…back to my case…RD… lor…if I buy RD doesn’t mean that I am the only one who have it, right…? Hahaha… ok ok…back to my point…my point is if we really want to archive something, we will do anything to obtain that thing no matter how hard the effort we have to make. Our mind will focus to our goal and just imagine how great we will feel if we can set a goal and after that work hard for it and feel satisfied after achieve our goal…we will feel that our life is complete…
Back to RD…I have been longing to subscribe this magazine for a long time…but I dun have much opportunity to buy it…so I keep my desire until I started working…then one day this particular salesman came to my office and promoted his products…variety of magazines for subscribed… there were Times, Health Magazine, News Week, bla..bla.. bla… and Reader’s Digest… actually there was a package…we need to subscribe Times for 3 years and we will get free one year issue of RD…then I asked him whether I can subscribe RD only or not…then he compromised with me…so after persuading him, he allowed me to subscribe RD…and now…I feel happy to be a RD subscriber!!!
